Job Description

The Manager III (General) in Early Learning accountable for improving student achievement through the effective management of an assigned area; plan, organize and direct the development and improvement of assigned area or program to provide students access to high quality learning options and a variety of activities to stay in school on target to graduate; supervise and evaluate the performance of assigned personnel and provide constructive feedback to improve staff effectiveness. 

 

General Manager III

  • Direct and oversee the formal Early Learning programs including but not limited to child care centers, school site preschools, and TK programs.
  • Direct and coordinate all aspects of Early Learning programs including but not limited to the programmatic quality, curriculum, instruction, and assessment.
  • Implement studies that will support the identification of student academic and developmental progress and areas of improvement. Develop and implement a plan to address areas of improvement.
  • Implement and coordinate all aspects of professional development training.
  • Direct and coordinate Early Learning curriculum and assessment alignment across all early grades.
  • Implement policies, procedures, and systems throughout department programs that support the high quality of services and resources in those programs. 
  • Support the expansion of programs with the lens of quality improvement.
