BRIEF DESCRIPTION OF POSITION

• Plan and implement a program of instruction consistent with Governing Board Policy 6177;
• Provide a program of direct, systemic intensive instruction that includes acceleration (Accelerated Learning strategically prepares students for success in next grade-level content. Acceleration readies students for new learning. Past concepts and skills are addressed, but always in the purposeful context of current learning). This is a specific strategy to address learning loss;
• Lead and supervise the planning, hiring, and implementation of the summer school program of assigned school site;
• Supervise all personnel at the assigned school site;
• Monitor budget for assigned school site;
• Monitor enrollment and follow up on absences to maintain sufficient enrollment;
• Complete all other duties as assigned.

Hemet Elementary School
Cottonwood/Hamilton/Idyllwild (1 Principal for all 3 outlying locations)

Dates: June 4, 2026 to June 30, 2026
Hours: 7:00 AM - 3:30 PM
Stipend: $12,240

Dates & Hours: 
June 3, 2026 - 7:00 AM - 12:30 PM with a 30 minute duty free lunch
June 4, 2026 to June 30, 2026 - 7:00 AM - 3:30 PM with a 30 minute duty free lunch

Stipend: $12,665
