Current Site Location: Hamilton High School (This school is located in Anza, CA which is approximately 37 miles South of Hemet and 36 miles from Temecula)

Hours/Days: 8.0 hours per day, 5 days per week, Monday - Friday

Daily Schedule: 5:55 a.m. - 8:25 a.m. AND 12:45 p.m. - 6:15 p.m. (Hours are based on site/department needs)

Job Description

SITE FACILITATOR

JOB SUMMARY

This position will be under the direct supervision of the 21st Century Grant Coordinator and assumes the leadership role at the site for the general coordination of the state-funded 21st Century Grant Program.  The Site Facilitator will assist the 21st Century Grant Coordinator and site principals in all aspects of the program and its development, and to do related work as required.

ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS

  • Arrange schedule and room assignments of staff;
  • Monitor students’ whereabouts;
  • Enroll new students;
  • Supervise, but not evaluate, 21st Century Grant personnel (including agency, city and District personnel);
  • Discipline students for minor infractions, contacting parents as necessary;
  • Refer serious situations to Assistant Principal, 21st Century Grant Assistant Principal and/or 21st Century Grant Coordinator;
  • Provide opportunities for parent contact;
  • Facilitate coordination of homework assignments for students enrolled;
  • Promote program;
  • Coordinate special event details and schedules;
  • Order supplies and equipment;
  • Act as liaison between school staff, Principal, custodians, and 21st Century Grant staff;
  • Safeguard campus;
  • Secure and store 21st Century Grant supplies and equipment to ensure its safety;
  • Assist in case of emergency;
  • Facilitate program development;
  • Participate in training for CPR and First Aid.

 EDUCATION/REQUIREMENTS

  • High school diploma or general education degree (GED) and possession of the knowledge and abilities listed above.
  • Meet the requirements for the No Child Left Behind Act with possession of an AA degree or higher or pass the District No Child Left Behind assessment test. 

EXPERIENCE

One year of paid or volunteer experience working with children of various age levels.
