Maintain accurate attendance records for the campus. Under direct supervision, perform data entry including attendance, Public Education Information Management System (PEIMS) data, and grades. Records and Reports Collect and enter attendance and PEIMS data into established database and verify accuracy according to prescribed procedures. With weekly attendance meetings, assist parents, students, and faculty with questions regarding student attendance. Contact parents/guardians to verify student absences as needed and report attendance problems to designated administrator. Calculating and reporting student’s loss of credit from excessive absences each semester. Compile, maintain, file, scan and distribute all reports, records, and other documents as required following established procedures. Compile daily attendance verification documents and scan for PEIMS audit purposes. Calculating and reporting final student exemptions. Share the responsibilities of the central office desk and controlling student activity in office. Share the responsibilities of supporting and assisting the Assistant Principal with tardies by calling student in and documenting Saturday class attendance. Compile and maintain the DAEP and ISS student list. Assist in campus office as needed. Maintain confidentiality. Supervisory Responsibilities: None. Mental Demands/Physical Demands/Environmental Factors: Tools/Equipment Used: Standard office equipment including personal computer and peripherals Posture: Prolonged sitting; occasional bending/stooping, pushing/pulling, and twisting Motion: Repetitive hand motions; frequent keyboarding and use of mouse; occasional reaching Lifting: Occasional light lifting and carrying (less than 15 pounds) Environment: May work prolonged or irregular hours Mental Demands: Work with frequent interruptions; maintain emotional control under stress Regular attendance in accordance with District policy is required and expected.
