About This Role: 

In partnership with the Marshal Teacher Residency (MTR), Citizens of the World Los Angeles (CWC LA) is thrilled to offer an innovative, one-year teacher prepartion program designed to equip future educators with the skills, knowledge, and experience to thrive in diverse classrooms. 

About The Program: 

  • Residency Start Date: June 2026
  • Program Length: 1 academic year
  • Summer Intensive: 4 weeks (June 2026)
  • Residency Year: 
    • 4 full days each week in a CWC classroom alongside an experienced, passionate, and supportive Cooperating Teacher
    • 1.5 days of virtual coursework with your MTR cohort
  • Priority Hiring Consideration for full time teaching roles at CWC LA upon completion

Qualifications:

  • Bachelor's degree from a regionally accredited institution
  • Eligibility to work in the United States 
  • Commitment to serving diverse student populations

Perferred: Prior experience working with K-12 students or in education-related settings
