About This Role:

Citizens of the World Hollywood’s (“CWC HW”)  Speech and Language Pathologist (SLP) provides direct services, assessments, and support to students with speech and language needs. The SLP plays a critical role in ensuring students access their educational program fully and effectively, in collaboration with school teams and families.

 

Key Responsibilities:

  • Deliver speech-language therapy using a variety of models and approaches

  • Conduct screenings, formal assessments, and write comprehensive evaluation reports

  • Develop and implement IEP goals and service plans aligned to students' needs

  • Track and document student progress toward IEP goals

  • Collaborate with educators to support classroom integration of communication strategies

  • Participate in IEP meetings and engage with families about student progress

  • Maintain accurate and timely records in Welligent or other required systems

  • Contribute to the regional Special Education team and special projects as needed

  • Travel between school sites as assigned

Qualifications:

  • Master’s degree from an ASHA-accredited university

  • Valid California Speech-Language Pathologist License or Credential

  • Certificate of Clinical Competency (CCC-SLP)

  • At least 1 year of experience in a school setting preferred

  • Strong knowledge of IEP development, formal assessments, and service delivery models

  • Familiarity with LAUSD and Welligent (preferred)

  • Willingness and ability to travel to school sites
