About This Role:
CWC LA seeks dynamic, caring Enrichment Coach to lead seasonal sports programs and youth activities. Guided by the Site-Based Program Manager and Athletic Director, you will coach, mentor, and build community through athletics, supporting students’ growth both on and off the field.
Key Responsibilities:

Recruit, coach, and supervise students in interscholastic and developmental leagues (e.g., Basketball, Flag Football, Soccer, Track and Field, Volleyball, Golf, Dodgeball)

Facilitate enrichment sessions (TK–5th or 6th–8th grade) that develop youth leadership, cooperation, and sportsmanship

Create a safe, inclusive, and positive environment for all participants

Support students’ social and emotional development through sports

Build strong relationships with students, families, staff, and volunteers

Organize practice schedules, collect data, and support program administration

Ensure student safety at all times, including off-site activities

Maintain equipment, uniforms, and practice spaces

Uphold CWC LA's values through respectful and positive communication

Arrive on time for all shifts, practices, meetings, and trainings

Demonstrate professionalism when interacting with students, families, and colleagues
Qualifications:
-
18 years of age or older
-
High school diploma or equivalent
-
Experience coaching youth sports or playing at the high school level or above
-
Experience leading or mentoring groups of children
-
Commitment to working with students from diverse backgrounds
-
Ability to create an engaging, inclusive environment for youth

Organized, self-directed, and adaptable to changing needs
-
Strong interpersonal skills and ability to work collaboratively
-
Ability to maintain professional boundaries with students, peers, and families
Schedule and Compensation:

Typical Schedule: Monday, Tuesday, Thursday, Friday | 2:00 PM–6:00 PM (2–8 hours/week)

Compensation: $25–$75 per hour, depending on experience
