About This Opportunity: 

Transform your passion for education into fulfilling teaching career through our innovative Teacher Residency Program. In partnership with Marshall Teacher Residency (MTR), Citizens of the World Los Angeles offers a comprehensive pathway to becoming a credentialed teacher while receiving hands-on classroom experience and professional development.

 

Program Overview: 

  • One-year intensive teacher preparation program
  • Four-week Summer Intensive starting June 2025
  • During the school year:
    • 4 full days per week working directly in a classroom with an experienced Cooperating Teacher
    • 1.5 days of virtual coursework with your cohort
  • Priority hiring consideration at Citizens of the World Los Angeles upon program completion

Qualifications:

  • Bachelor's degree from a regionally accredited college or university

Preferred Qualifications: 

  • Experience working with K-12 students
  • Background in education or related field
